The food was pretty good relative to Chinese Buffet type food. I would have rate higher had the place been cleaner. The floors close to the buffet was very sticky. I am always concern when the public space (serving area ) is not clean how is the private space (kitchen) are been keep.

Why did they waste the money to remodel the restaurant if they were not going to serve better food then before. Just wasted 36 dollars for 2 adults and 1 child, food poor, cold and mostly fried dishes. The crab is still served cold and some how they can even overcooked it. Do yourself a favor and drive to East China Buffet by the Giant. Maybe the new buffet by price chopper will be good, but it's the Poconos so I don't have much hope.

Food was pretty good. Would have rated higher if my experience was better. I was questioned if my 2 year old son was really 2 and then so was my wife when I went to go get my food which I thought was extremely rude. I could afford the 5 extra dollars he would have cost me if he was 3. Also as we were finishing up the waitress was walking by and spilt someone's hot wonton soup down my back! Being so frustrated I was going to pay and the owner offered to pay for my meal so at least I got a free meal but this was a terrible experience. Will not come here again!

When really good food is served in an atmosphere that's not only friendly, but clean, you know you're in for a positive dining experience. An excellent selection of buffet bars and gorgeous open dining areas offer an inviting place to share a wonderful meal with friends and family. The food was cooked right with the perfect touch of seasoning and sauce. Their Sushi was absolutely delicious, best in town! They recently re-renovate the place and now it looks even better and brings a even more pleasant dinning experience. All in all, words are hard to believe but if you are from around the area, stop in once and see for yourself. It will be definitely worth you time and you will find yourself coming back often.

Not great, no bad either. Completely and totally average. Good that they are open late. My parents hated it. Waitress who couldn't speak clearly or be understood. Don't go especially out of your way to come here.

So far is the best food I ever have for the pass a few weeks! On our vacation we jump all over from place to place.... After we finished horse back riding and canoeing whole day , we very enjoy of this buffet , and the staff they all friendly and fast , I just don't know why people give them such of bad review in the pass.... Compare a lot of local place I think they deserve 5 star !!

This was the worst Chinese buffet I have been to. The food was cold and the shrimp were not cleaned. The ice cream was also freezer burned. No selection and over priced. Will not be going back and hopefully not getting sick from the food.

Horrible place. Out of all Chinese that I went to, this is the worst. Food is cold, taste old and flies colonizing the sushi bar. Needless to say I left hungry. This was during the week, maybe it is better on the weekend.

Most buffets this type I expect mediocre experience. I'm not expecting top or even great food for this price. We were vacationing with 42 other people from our Church and this seemed like a good idea. The food tasted ok - better than what I would normally think of a cheap buffet. The problem is that that evening 6 of us came down with the bathroom "syndrome". We didn't communicate very well and most of us didn't even know another person of the group didn't feel well. The next morning found out that at least 1/3rd of us (over 15 people) were throwing up in the middle of the night or visiting the bathroom multiple times. Nothing was staying in our stomachs. Needless to say - either they didn't have fresh food or the cleanliness in the back wasn't up to par. I found out a day later from someone else who was staying in the Shawnee Inn that they got sick too - and this was a visit 1 day earlier than us. They were friendly to us and I gave them an extra star because of that but I doubt we would come here again next year.

The best Chinese buffet in the area. They're great at keeping the trays full, the food is always hot and (mostly) fresh, and they have MOUNDS of crab legs.

5.th time visit in 24 years, you'd think I'd learn by now, horrible! Wendy's is down the road and is a safer meal

It is what it is. I stopped in for a quick dinner. The interior was dated although the bathroom was surprisingly clean and new. Service was excellent. The food was decent. It's easy for a place like that to loose the asian flavor with the more options they offer; but they managed to maintain both. Also can't go wrong with unlimited crab legs :) well you can, but they didn't.

I have eaten at this buffet many times over the years since it first opened. The food is only good if you're starving and MUST have Chinese food. Pass this one by and order take out from any of the other local Chinese places.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
